I see On is having a big sale right now. Anyone recommend them? Which style? I have been intrigued by them since the sponsor some pretty successful professionals.

I have been running in the CloudMonsters and they might be the best shoe I’ve ever run in. Light, stable, and super comfy.
+1, cloudmonster is great easy day shoe.
When I first tried Ons they didn't fit me right. It felt like the arch was in the wrong spot. But I recently bought the Cloudmonster which I love. Nice, cushiony shoe. If you want something a bit less cushioned the Cloud Go is a good option.
Unless youre a wine mom peddling MLM programs, id stay away. Overpriced average shoes.
where is this sale? on their website?
Yeah I’ve been in the cloud monsters since March and I love them. They’re one of the few shoes the designed with feedback from the OAC.
On my second pair of On cloundMonsters so have ran 400+ miles in them and have to say a few things. (Even tho they are marked as a “long run shoe” it’s a great daily trainer for me”
PROS
1. Most of my minor tweaks/injuries went away after switching to CloudMonsters
2. great millage still have traction on my original Monsters even after 400 miles, I use them as my everyday shoes now and still comfortable.
3. I like they way they are laced it’s easy to tighten.
4. Good stability. it’s a little wider shoe.
CONS.
1. Foam a little stiff when you start running in them (but do break in)
2. Lots of toe rocker (could be a good thing)
3. Rocks and sticks can get into the bottom gap (really rare to happen tho)
4. (Kinda a con) I have gotten shin splints well running in them but most likely from other factors.
Bonus lex and Leo young runs in them 😂
The 'pretty successful professionals' you refer to were paid by On to wear, and specifically race in, Nike. That's all you need to know.
They haven't run in Nikes since 2021. Hoare and Garcia Romo both ran 3:30 in On Spikes. They raced in Nike DF spikes when On hadn't yet developed a competitive spike.
Not since the On spikes were finished; all the On athletes have said those are the best racing shoes they've used (obviously, they have a financial interest, but still).
To the OP: On Cloudmonster. Great shoe, which I've had in rotation with some Saucony Endorphins. I feel like the On's cushioning hasn't lasted as long as the Saucony's cushioning, but a) I'm a big dude, and the Saucony shoes have been outliers in that regard (i.e., I also destroyed some Hokas pretty quickly), and 2) I feel like the ride in the Ons is pretty smooth and I would definitely recommend trying them out.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
