2000’ drop over the full distance but does have some climbs. My regular racing shoes are probably gonna be too stiff in the forefoot for a constant downhill. I prefer a soft midsole. My right food is wide. I’m a prominent midfoot striker, though I’ll be interested to see how my stride changes over the distance pounding down the hills. I actually race in the carbon altras. They suck, but they fit my feet. I also like the knit in the Nike zoom flyknit line. I just don’t think the knit will hold my foot at speed taking corners. I’ve tried the meta sky and liked them. The alpha and vapor fly didn’t seem to hold my foot well going down hills.
