Seth James Demoor is selling singlets I hear. Get one before they sell out.
Hard pass. They'll never fit a grown man.
It's dry out there unless you like Saucony.
Update:
Today I ordered a pair of Brooks Caldera trail shoes from Dicks for $93. Every other retailer such as RW and Brooks direct has the shoe listed at $150. Seems like a good deal.
Last week, in a deal unrelated to Black Friday/Cyber Monday, I found a pair of Salomon Spectur road shoes for $60. That's 50% off the list price.
Yesterday I also ordered a pair of Kinvara 12 for $60. Clearance sale, not related to holiday deals.
Did well on Nike, especially if you are a Member (just giving your email). 25% across the site if you a member and you can stack that with other discounts.
If only Nike shoes worked with my feet. I just don't do well in higher heel drop shoes.
Poop. Just tried and their Aeroswift stuff is basically all sold out now. Thanks for the heads up though.
Update 2:
Once again I am reminded of the pitfalls of online shoe shopping and deal hunting. Tried on the Salomon Spectur and it was too narrow. It's going back to the retailer and they will deduct $6.00 from the refund for the return shipping. Most retailers have free returns and refunds for unused shoes but this does not.
UPDATE 3:
Probably no one is reading my messages but in case there's some new out there that is I have an update on the Brooks Caldera purchase.
As mentioned before I purchased this shoe from Dicks on Cyber Monday for $93 before sales tax. This was a savings of $57 based on current prices at RW and other well known running retailers.
Today, I took the shoe for 14K run that consisted of mostly canal dirt roads (Florida). This is my first attempt at a trail run in over 2 years and it went great. The Caldera has the build of a tank which makes landings stable. The feet sit within the midsole which makes the ride stable. Think HOKA but better. The thick cushioning is both plush and responsive. I can feel a rebound and the rocker shape of the midsole propels me forward with ease. The interior feel of the shoe is uber comfortable. The arch is low and will not bother flatter feet. The upper is thin but very dense. It could be made of a medium density foam padding material. The rest of the upper is comfortable. Roomy but not sloppy. There's a toe cap that has what feels like a stiff TPU bumper that can protect the toes from rocks or transversal tree roots if you trip on one. The tread is grippy but it's more of road-2-trail pattern. The lugs are fairly close. Running on sidewalks and asphalt on the way to the canal felt smooth. Because that thick slab of midsole is very cushy the lugs will flex just a little and push into the midsole when depressed. That helps keep the ride smooth on hard surfaces. I like the laces and the look of the shoe.
To sun up, the Caldera 6 is a winner. If Dicks is still offering this shoe for $113 with the $20 app purchase discount and you run buffed out trails, fire roads, canal trails you should consider getting a pair.
Got some peg 39s for $63 and peg 37s for $60, I was pretty happy about that. Hated the 37s at first but after they broke in I really liked them
