Recent week's training below. Went well. I was a bit aggressive with the ramp up mileage/intensity, but it went well and I enjoyed it. Finally got some cool weather and that really helped me pick up the pace. Taking it easier this week and doing a "race" on Saturday (a duathlon relay with a friend... I'll be running 2 x ~2 mile trail segments while my friend bikes in between) and trying to prepare mentally for my "last" week of chemo and the holidays.
- 11/7/2022 15min, 1.9mi optune jog
- 11/8/2022 77min, 9.5 trail run. ~20min steady in a hilly section, tempo lap around the lake (~20:30 for ~2.8mi). Strides
- 11/9/2022 22min, 2.8mi; optune and strides
- 11/10/2022 46min, 5.8mi. 6 aussies: 89, 88, 88, 89, 90, 88, 86. cool drizzle
- 11/11/2022 18min, 2mi. Muggy optune jog and a few strides
- 11/12/2022 36min, 3.5mi. Optune stroller jog to the playground... left quickly b/c my son threw mulch at a kid :{
- 11/13/2022 2h3m; 16mi trail; ~20min steady in hilly section (~:50-1:10), then 30min tempo from 1:20-1:50 (strava splits: 6:41, 6:25, 6:39, 6:30) strides and cool down jog.
Re the Aussies: I do them on a loop I measure with Google Earth. They're ~400m (21' down and 25' up) and a ~230m float section
