Your continued accusations of a fine young woman are disgusting.
You derail every thread by resorting to insulting posters rather than sticking to the topic. You are driving posters away and violating the rules of use. I hope you get banned soon so that the running community can have meaningful discussions.

Pretty much this^^^^
If dropping 50 seconds from a 5k time in a matter of months - while dealing with injuries- to reach olympic level times is not a red flag, then what is? It will probably follow her, right or wrong.
Wejo, going all in hyping up extreme performances doesn't help the sport as much as you think after the Houlihan mess, huntington, and Kenya's current doping crisis.
Dropping 50 secs in the 5k “over a matter of months”? What are you talking about??
There were pages and pages of debate on other threads, but since you seemed to have missed it, the SEC Champs course, unfortunately, was likely short.
This has probably been said before in the thread but it's hard to sort through all the drivel about Tuohy versus Valby- Valby seems like a great runner, but I'm not sure if she will be the next best US distance star as she seems quite injury prone and I get burn out fast vibes from her. Time will tell!
Wejo is hyping up that she is in 14:40 shape. In may she ran 15:32 (pb), 15:29 (pb), June 15:20 (pb) and now supposedly could do a 14:40 (pb). That would be 52 seconds, if true.
I am not here to say whether she could do that or not, but that is the pot Wejo and team are stirring up with their hype train.
You have a son in college? I thought you were some college-aged kid with a crush on Valby. But pretty weird for an old guy to use the handle "Valby is goddess". Please stay away.

LOL, what? None of these statements are facts.
The 15:20 in June was indicative of her fitness in June, and is in-line with her fitness in the February 3000m in which she broke her foot. The slower 5k times you mention prior to the June race were obviously in the process of coming back, building fitness.
Would we expect her to be faster now? Consider this to us only her 5-6th year of running progression.
Regarding her being currently in 14:40 shape…I surmise there is some pot-stirring going on? Did these journalists ever discuss the apparent course problems with Ole Miss? Is the course going to be re-rolled, or not?!?
With an uninterrupted training block I would expect her to improve, but not to 14:40 lol.
But there have been additional injuries since June, it has not been uninterrupted. I could name a few 15:30's runners that have injuries and they have stalled, plateaued or gone backwards for a while. That is typical. These are the questions people will ask, again right or wrong.
I also think wejo and team are definitely pot stirring, and it is a bit much.
The article said she averaged 40-50mpw over the last two years, which evidently was fine for her 10,000m races, but they recently bumped mileage for her Half-marathon debut, and I think she wants to debut in the Marathon soon.
Parker Valby post 5k interview... Worst of all time? Are Parker Valby interviews always cringe?
