I did a foot scan recently and it showed up that I am a moderate supinator, meaning I put a lot of pressure on the outsides of my feet when standing/walking.
How critical is it that I used a shoe for supinators? Something like the ASICS Gel Cumulus or Gel Nimbus is what I'm thinking of trying out.
I've worn neutral shoes or even shoes geared towards overpronators (eg ASICS GT 2000s or Novablasts) and haven't had many issues, but I have some lingering peroneal tendonitis and am thinking switching shoes could help.
