I'm 41 and have found increasingly that my legs really feel like they take a pounding every time I run, especially at the beginning of runs. For lack of a better description, my legs just feel old and beat up out on runs. I had a spring and summer that made it difficult to be consistent with my running, but I'm less than a year removed from a 38 and change 10k.
Unfortunately, much of my running occurs on concrete sidewalks, and that is largely unavoidable where I live and for the time I have available.
I've worn Nike Pegasus for awhile now, but was wondering if I should be looking to switch to something different. Any recommendations for shoes that might be better to for aging runners and legs? Should I be trying Hoka or others?
