I honestly really enjoy a cooper teare interview. It's nice to hear somebody give real answers and not just giving coach speak or saying the company line. It is so rare nowadays. I hope he continues to be an open book.
But, he went too far here. You can be open without talking like you are hanging out with your frat buddies and drinking a few beers.
Honestly, if he is comfortable having the things he said out there, more power to him. It doesn't bother me. I think it's mostly kind of tongue in cheek stuff that people take too seriously, but I have a feeling he won't like the reaction his fellow runners have. This is speaking to that entire interview in general. Mocking the way people dress, talking about cringe running teams, individual runners, etc.
But He is just plain wrong on the Gault thing. Hope he learns to get over that stuff.
