Ali / Hering went 1/2. 15:21 and 15:41
What's the point, could have time trialed at gale woods
The fact that Logan Drevlow wasn’t in this race made the team race even more pointless
Hopkins also won the freshman invite at the lefty Wright. Instead of putting Morse in the open race they could have created a squad of 8-10th graders and put it in the rising stars race
I get it, it's fun for everyone to race and a good weekend for the team, but guys running 15:21, and 15:06 shouldn't win their race 45 seconds in. Yes they tan great pr's to boost their confidence for next spring. Still would like to see them mix it up with others around them. How do runners get placed in the open races? They just pick one and hope there is competition?
I’m actually more concerned about Ali running the open race even though Mechura was faster. Ali is actually a senior so he won’t get another chance to compete against the best in XC unless he does Eastbay.
Mechura has 2 more years. Will be interesting how his time compares to Weber’s and Putz’s
Roseville boys - #3 team in the open merge results
Ep - #4 but missing nonseniors Donaldson and derouin. But they only lose 3 guys so next year the look good although Tonka / Edina will likely keep them from making state
Provenzano’s team is no longer in the discussion of going to NXN this year
Nechanicky 16:44
Wayzata crushed it
Tonka will have to wait for an at-large
???? Mechura would have placed top 10 in the champ race???
yeah, you will find him in Oregon in 2023
wayzata crushed it.
Jones would have made it if Dowling made it
Breker is the only MN guy who made NXN that isn’t from Wayzata
Southwest didn’t make state and got 6th here. This is nuts. Here’s to hoping they find a fifth for next year
Let’s give Breker some credit. That’s awesome. Hats off. So glad that he was able to bounce back. Hell of a race

Yeah he is NXN caliber.
I wonder if Dowling Catholic can get an at-large. This region is getting stronger
So…Mechura ran a 15:06 and Sam Scott ran a 15:11.
Mechura could possibly win state and NXR next year
So to recap, Abbey won, set a course record for Heartland, and ran her fifth straight sub-17. Also it was likely a new SD soil record.
The boys also saw a new course record. Although Noah didn’t win, his 14:51 is the new all-time MN boy’s record.
Paityn Noe certainly put up a good fight. And Abbey for the first time all season ran against someone who she couldn’t just drop from almost the very start.
And to top it off Jade Rypkemas kick in last 800 to put her within 7 seconds of Noe and 7 seconds ahead of 4th Drevlow. And out of nowhere Norah Hushagen! Woop girls did awesome!
4 MN girls in top 7 going into NXN!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
