Lead is naturally occurring, why does it matter if it gets in our drinking water??? It's not some man made toxin or anything like that.

Your anecdotal evidence means nothing. That alcohol has its own problems has nothing to do with pot. There are stats on what I say. Pot today has lots of different strains, dosages in edibles can vary. I am not WORRIED about pot. I just stated a fact. About 1 in 4 experience bad side effects including severe panic attacks. I am not against using marijuana. I probably will not unless I need it to deal with pain later in life, but anyone who wants to use it, more power to them. It IS a drug though, and people should be careful about how they use it...making sure not to have too big of a dose early on to see how they react to it.
I am about to take my semi-regular morning dose of caffeine and THC. It comes in the form of a cup of coffee and 1-2 puffs on the old joint. I will then go work my Saturday half shift(extra pay outside my regular schedule, a shift that I can pick the hours for and choose to do or not do on a whim) operating hobbing machines and a small manual lathe.
Like they say, "Go low and slow". Cannabis can make you anxious, but the lethal dose is smoking 50kg/minute for 15 minutes. That's a serious bong hit. A bottle of Jack can easily kill you.
Idk I’ll smoke a bit every few months or take a hit at a show.
But undoubtedly that stuff makes you dopey AF if you do it often.

Because people have developed a dependency on it. Nowadays people cant go a hour without smoking weed or they have to smoke it before doing simple activities such as eating or going to the store. Its giving addict.

Pot is just another chink in he armor of our once great country. Potheads are less productive than the rest of the population, but since so many Americans are sitting on the sidelines of the economy maybe productivity in the Service Industry based economy we have become is not a make or break anymore. I wonder who is the first president who smoked pot? Imagine it was Clinton, but he didn't inhale. Obama probably took the most hits of any POTUS.
I think the whole point is that a lot of people in America have fallen into dependence on marijuana. Public discussion of drugs helps prevent addictions among young people, putting pressure on the human psyche. Usually, they start smoking in adolescence, which is considered cool among immature people, so there is such a strong advertisement that even marijuana is a strong drug. I used cannabis for relaxation before and found that I was really considered an addict. However, I have a severe form of arthritis and have long received a card for medical marijuana through https://marijuanadoctor.com/. So do not condemn a person if you do not know his story and motives.
They want to keep it illegal in order to keep cops employed.
I know it sounds weird but thats how i see it.
Some strains of cannabis gives you alcohol like effects, but you pay more, other strains give you effects of "too much coffee" but you also pay more.
These things prohibit canabis from being habit forming as the similar effects will always be achieved for less $.
Because it affects the way you think and it's addicting.
I'm not a user and don't really care about pot. I do have to ask though. Why is smoking pot in vehicles so rampant? Isn't that still illegal? I smell they crap nearly every day coming from cars around me. Open beers in a car gets you arrested.
Cannabis right before a workout is incredible.
Sativa its the way
It's not something we should worry about. Each person is able to make decisions for themselves on this issue. As long as they are prepared to accept the consequences of overuse, or regular use, then go for it. (Alcohol use as consequences and I am fully aware of them, and accept them.)

I would an addendum: when that use impacts others then it becomes a problem. Example 1: driving under the influence. Drink or get stoned at home all your want, but getting behind the wheel can impact others in a big way.
There are certainly family issues to consider here, but a spouse has choices too.
I can't believe this is serious... maybe I posted it when I was feverish and forgot.
Smoke a bunch, lay back, stare at your black light posters while listening to Pink Floyd and you'll know exactly what cannabis is.
