What was Colin’s last 499? I thought he came through 400 around 54-high/55-low, but that would put him around 53 flat/52-high for the second lap.

Did Martin PB?!? Thought his main event is the1500/mile.
She moved out to block the other girl from passing and ultimately caused the other girl to trip and fall on her face. You have to maintain your line in the home stretch when you are ahead. You cannot move to block someone from passing.
Martin wasn’t patient enough.
Sahlman probably has the best range in HS history I think. 1:48, 3:56, 8:33 & 14:03 in XC beating his teammate who ended up running 13:43 on the track. Webb was slightly faster at 800 but not quite the XC runner as Sahlman.
54.01
Tell that to Chelimo.
Ryun probably had similar range.
EXACTLY! CHELIMO should have been disqualified as well.

Hard to say. He tried to stretch it because he may not have the sprint wheels.

Uh, not quite.

Yes he did. Ryun had the faster mile with worse shoes and tracks. Duh…
Ryun ran 8:25 at age 19 with crappy spikes and a slower track and you are trying to tell me his range cannot compare to Colin? Hahahahahaha.

Why are we bringing college times into the equation? What is this hypothetical crap, you either ran the times/races or you didnt.

Ryun was likely a 3:51 HS miler (with todays spikes and tracks) and you think he didn’t have similar range to Colin?
That's not a rail, it's a small fence! Jr. High Girls trying to break 5:00 in 1600

4:52! Nice. Paige Sheppard from N.J.
Girls Mile about to start.....we have some fireworks.
Whittaker vs Engelhardt vs Stewart
Whittaker 4:36.2 FTW. 4th fastest all time for girls in a high school only race.
Hard to knock a 4:36 1600m by a freshman, but still probably not a great strategy making it a kickers race with a sub 2 800m runner in the field.
