Oregon men out of 4 X 100 by .01 second.
VT and Oregon barely miss making the final. Tech by .004 seconds and Oregon by .01 of a second. Brutal break for both. Oregon’s uniforms are crazy ngl
SEC Indoor Championship is on ESPN to right now lol like wtf decided that made sense.
The 'kid' from Morocco (S. Carolina) leads with a lap to go in 1500.
Essayi died. Too much load up front. DNf
Essayi just dropped with 120 meters to go. Top 5 all under 3:38!
That kid from Morocco stepped off the track with 100m to go when he saw that he wasn't going to make it into the final
Will be interested to see what Kipsang vs. Romo looks like here.
Kipsang leads (looks like he is jogging) first 800 in 1:59.06
Kipsang out
Looks like all 3 UW boys will make the final. No kipsang and essayi will made this an easy final for Garcia Romo
WTF? Kipsang straight to the back at the bell??? Romo takes it.
Surprised no one has been talking about Whashington's 1500 guys. They send all three to the final comfortably, perhaps showing Andy Powell is still the best middle-distance coach in college.
Really enjoying these races
Where is Jill? I have picked up so many interesting tidbits when she is on the broadcast. Such insight
3:43. Yikes
Well the 1500 heats were pretty eventul. The Moroccan Olympian Anass ESSAYI looked like an Olympian in heat 1 - leading it quick - until the final 200 when he faded and then just stepped off the track.
Then the collegiate record holder was leading heat 2 before fading way back as well - Abel Kipsang.

what happened to kipsang?
Garcia Romo was in a tough spot with 500 to go but pushed his way out. Fitting that AJ Ernst who caused the issues in the Penn Relays did not make it out. But 2 of the top guys did not make it out.
