I am a master athlete who usually runs 1500. My best time is 4:32 running splits of 500 in 1:29, 1:31 and 1:32. Do you think this is the best way to run a 1500 or do you recommend another type of strategy to try to improve.

That's pretty decent pacing. Maybe you can run (sub) 4:30 on the right day by opening in an even 90 & being at 3-flat through 1k, feeling strong instead of slightly fading. You're running pretty close to your potential with splits like that tho. It's about getting yourself into the right race, having good weather, hitting 1k in an even 3-flat, & seeing if you can close a little harder.
