Read this article, do the exercises, and you will feel great in about a week or so. I had tendonitis that developed the day before this Thanksgiving and got progressively worse in my Achilles tendon until Monday, when it got creaky and crunchy. I started doing the achilles exercises Monday, took Wed-Thur off in the pool, and ran 20 minutes today at 98% of normal achilles strength with no pain. Normally this injury takes a long time, but with this exercise it clears it up much faster.
