The announcing is unreal. To flawlessly be able to see all 20 horses and name them is crazy. Here is a video of the track announcer (not the NBC which is what you are hearing above) broadcasting the same race.

80-1 and Rich Strike wasn't even supposed to be in the race. Not sure how to compare it to a track performance. As another poster mentioned, maybe Billy Mills in Tokyo 1964, or had Sam Prakel run the race of his life to win this year's World Indoor 1500 final.
