As others have pointed out, 68:22 is almost literally a mile off world class. Sure this is better than 70+, but really gives no indication that Ayana has any chance of recapturing her old form. Had she run around 66:30, I would think chances are slim, but that she could realistically be coming back into form. But 68:22 ... things don't look good.
If Kiplimo was injured for 5 years and then showed up losing in 61:30, I don't think anyone (except perhaps VIPAM) would take that as evidence he was coming back into top form...
