Does anyone here use crash training i.e. upping mileage considerably for a week close to a race to shock the system (or so i think that's the point)
How far out should you crash train?
What kind of jump in mileage is best?

Any success stories?
I know the great british runners used this for a while and was thinking of trying it out as I do not have time for consistent high mileage (unfortunately)
