Guys please, he is not showing up for Boston. He will prepare for the world record in Berlin later this year. Europe is the place to be.

Current forecast not looking bad. Upper 40s at start, low 50s at finish, 20% chance of rain. Looking at Weather Underground 10day.
I'll agree with that, but will add that there are some indications of a decent tailwind. Stay tuned!
Looks like we might be getting some rain, albeit light
Still a pretty uncertain forecast 1 week out in terms of precip or not. But doesn't look overly warm or overly cold. A seasonable April day in New England.

Maybe so, but I arrive Friday. Many others arrive Thursday. I'd like to know the weather for the WHOLE weekend. A Th/Fri forecast now is probably accurate enough that you can start planning those days.
check out this crazy forecast. Large variance throughout the area.

Expect great things. Weather is looking great
Shoot, I'm really jealous. Not running this year & have never caught a good weather day at Boston. Looking like high-40s/low-50s w./ a 25 degree dew point (read: no humidity). Add in a slight tail wind & this could be the 1st time since 2011 with really good weather. Accuweather showing wind from E/NE, which would be a headwind. Fingers crossed for everyone that the W/NW winds hold that have been reported elsewhere.
Maybe we'll see Americans run fast since the one race everyone does every spring will finally have decent weather.
Looking like it will indeed be a headwind. Less than 24 hours out the forecasts look like 4-5mph NNE at the start in Hopkinton, 6mph ENE in Wellsley, and 10-12mph E in Boston at the finish.
Still cool with low humidity so favorable, but not the absolute fastest conditions.

Yep. I was out walking around today and that wind felt mighty brisk. Good temp, lack of rain, lack of extreme heat and humidity are a blessing. The likely cold headwind appears to be the one drawback. But on balance, I'll take it, as I've run marathons in far worse conditions.

It’s just always windy running in Boston, usually blowing northward or eastward or in between.
Did you know Boston is one of the windiest big American cities, Chicago being a mere twelfth desire its notoriety?

Those kind of headwinds are similar to what I raced in last fall. While it may not help, in practice I found that I rarely noticed it. Good luck tomorrow.
Great temps, but alas, the headwinds. Hopefully the winds will be shielded and they are not that strong either. Boston may be blustery though.

Yep. Looks like the winds shifted east. I haven’t looked at weather recently but that wind direction stood out immediately.
