As the title suggests, I've been training for my first marathon that was due to be in 2 weeks and have unfortunately got covid after managing to avoid it this whole time. I'm from Australia so our rules are 7 day mandatory isolation. I should note I'm triple vaccinated and am experiencing extremely mild symptoms, sore throat is about it.
I'd been averaging about 70mpw, with the past 2 weeks at 80, was looking to reduce the long run this week then begin tapering next week.
How much is a full week off going to affect my time goal? I was aiming for a 2:45 (10k PB of 33:38, 5k = 16:15) and felt pretty on track given my workout performance. Had done 6 LRs over 20miles and 2 at 22 miles.
