I presume that's Nick Willis.
I'll still go for Cragg. He's back in shape, I think.
Anyone know if the manchester road race will be broadcasted anywhere?
has cragg raced lately.know he won a 10k,what sorta time?
how far is this race?Willis has a fantastic kick.
might be a bit more sharp than cragg.never underestimate mark carroll, tough cork f***er.
4.787 miles. Weather predicts inch of snow by the start. Cragg, Willis and Carroll are all a go. Should be good.
Even with shoveling/plowing, I'm surprised they'd risk this year or career road-racing in freezing, slippery weather.
I've run the race about 10 times-one year the entire road was snow, slush and ice. There really isn't that much of a risk to a career however. You could just as easily turn an ankle on a cross country course as you could slip and fall on the roads of Manchester. It's a really fun race...
my money is on cragg

No disrespect, as you've run it, and the participants know what they're doing. But running fast over slippery conditions seems about as risky as you can get. A fall while almost sprinting would seem potentially ugly. People slip over snow all the time just walking.
great race for such a frugal race director
Results?
results anyone?
anything?? this race was probably over 37-38min ago...
any results?
willis won from cragg.
mondor did slip and hurt her ankle
Idiots......
First, it's 4.748 miles.
Second, the course was perfectly plowed. There was salt in some places, but the road was only wet. Unless you were running in the gutter it was hard to find a place to slip.
Manchester does a great job WHENEVER there is snow close to the race to get the course in top shape.
Im not sure what youre gettting at but all the profits go to charity. No one makes money off this race. Probably the greatest race in America.
