this is a record for most posts in a wazzu thread before he brings in a completely u related political talking point. Congrats! But… does this guy have a life?
My post was speaking to the fact the Blue states have handled C-19 poorly.

The unvaxxed Amish here in America were just fine too. There are hundreds of thousands of them scattered around PA, OH, IN, MI. They were completely back to normal in May, 2020. If they were dying disproportionately, it would have been on the front pages of the NYT and WaPo dozens of times.
"But Blue States suck and have the worst results of anyone. People cannot move to Red States fast enough. " Wazzu
Then why does Arizona (RED): 27,100 Covid deaths and Washington (BLUE):11,500 deaths have almost the exact populations ?!? (and don't give us the crap about the older AZ. population.) It was about politics and proper mandates !!

That's a myth.
Our results indicate the Amish/Mennonite excess death rates are similar to the national trends in the USA. The excess death rate for Amish/Mennonites spiked with a 125% increase in November 2020. The impact of COVID-19 on this closed religious community highlights the need to consider religion to stop the spread of COVID-19.
"Excess deaths" is a means to estimate the lethality of COVID-19 (directly and indirectly). Assessing "excess death" in closed religious communities provides information on how COVID-19 impacted these communities. We use obit...

Despite deaths and high infection rates, the parts of Ohio where the Amish live have the state's lowest vaccination rates. Most Amish aren't getting vaccinated; the few who do aren't open about it.
Lol. Your pushback is, "Our results indicate the Amish/Mennonite excess death rates are similar to the national trends in the USA. The excess death rate for Amish/Mennonites spiked with a 125% increase in November 2020."
The Amish death rate was "similar" despite no vaccinations (skipping the associated financial costs and side effects), and their churches, farms, businesses, and schools were wide open by late spring, 2020 (sparing them the massive pain from years of face masks, social isolation, and economic devastation). Yeah, the Amish win this one by light years.
Considering a COVID test costs as much as about a half a week's salary in many African countries, I'm not sure how extensive the testing is in Africa. If you want a better measure of the extent of infection in Africa, look at excess death data.
Tracking covid-19 excess deaths across countries | The Economist
Since, 90% of our Covid deaths over the past 4 months in the U.S., happened to our Unvaxxed; it's great that Africa is doing well. But it's not pertinent to most of us !!!
It’s not pertinent if you’re a blind faithed political agent, no. it’s very pertinent if the goal is to stay healthy, prevent mutations and render the virus harmless.
Right wingers live to own the libs and I live to have sex with as many men as possible.
I am a closet homosexual who has a hard-on for Harambe: he is the only one who can give me the daily dose of self-humiliation that I crave. Let's Go Darwin!
Harambe has a new boyfriend and you can't have him. He said he was going to give up dating, but when he was humiliated by the pandemic not being amongst the unvaccinated, be decided that passionate sex with a new boyfriend was the only thing that would make him feel better.

No. My pushback is that your statement ("They were completely back to normal in May, 2020.") was wrong, and shows you had no clue what you were talking about when you posted.

You keep bringing this up whole ignoring Utah. Cherry-picking is a sign of stunted intellect.

You obviously know nothing about the Amish experience with Covid. Did Covid continue to affect them after spring, 2020? Yes, of course. But they were completely back to normal in their lives (no masks, no restrictions) and accepting of consequences. Their death rate was "similar" to the spastic, masked up, vaxxed people.
Btw, your little study says the Amish death rate was slightly higher in November, 2020. Ok, what about April, 2020? What about June, 2021? What about January, 2022? What about overall for the last two years? Again, if the Amish death rate was significantly higher than the rest of America, the left-wing media (but I repeat myself) would be dancing on their graves, laughing, pointing, and bellowing with glee.

It's not cherry picking, when you compare the same population totals and RED versus Blue in policies ! Who the f cares about Utah ??
Wrong. Africa doesn't care about your hysterical conspiracy theories about a virus that has spread widely through every country in the world that maintained free movement. Sub-Saharan Africa has virtually no testing, limited quality death statistics, an average age of under 20, and very little obesity with rates way under 10% in many countries, as compared to the 20s and 30s in Europe, the Middle East, and North America.
