…sort of wondering about this. Mostly interested in cattle, pigs and chickens
maybe a veterinarian on this site could shed some light (Laura Muir perhaps 😀)
COVID 19 has not been a big issue in animals at this point.
I know that it infects minks easily and that mink to mink transfer occurs (does mink to human transfer occur?)
I also know that it infects dears and that dear to dear transfer occurs (again not sure about dear to human transfer or the risk of eating contaminated dear meat?)
COVID 19 has also been found in dogs, (cats?), tigers, lions… (again not sure about Intra species transfer and transfer back to humans)
however, has COVID 19 been found in cattle, pigs and chickens? if not. why?
if it has been found. Do they transmit it to each other? Also, what happens if a human eats contaminated meat?
