Long arms, so maybe javelin would be more her speed.

She's going to win this race. If she doesn't, she'll still be top-5.

Thing is… this would still be a great result for her.

Agreed - and it would bode well for her 800m shape.
Show would win the NCAA mile if she had stayed.
I’d predict her running something in the 4:22-4:24 range, I think that you are underestimating her aerobic capabilities quite a bit. Like an earlier commenter made for comparison, Raevyn Rogers has run a 4:29 mile. Ajee has run a 4:05, equivalent to about a 4:23 or so.

Yeap, it's going to be another OMG from Athing Mu.
This will only be interesting if she tries to run from the front.
I live near nyc and was just going to buy tickets.....holy cow they are expensive! (200 bucks)
nevermind, no wonder this is a dying sport
4:29.24 on a good day.
Tickets are available at $22 - less than the cost of going to the movies. And, reserved seats at Millrose for $30.

I believe Rogers and especially Wilson likely have greater potential at the mile than Mu. Notice how they’re not 49” open 400 runners.
So the slower the 400, the faster the mile? I can run a 400 in 65. I should be able to run 4:20 I guess.

This is too stupid for me to waste my time on.
So then the faster runner is faster at the mile? It has to be one or the other.
My son ran 49 and 4:10 in HS and he was the fastest on his team in the 400 and the mile. I guess It makes your point that a faster 400 results in a faster mile.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
