About to start a half marathon training plan that starts around 38MPW and peaks at 60MPW.
Mondays are "3 mile recovery OR 30-45 mins cross training".
I have an exercise bike that I haven't used in ages. Skipping a 3-mile run seems like almost nothing on a plan that peaks at 60MPW esp if it's run at recovery pace, but the exercise bike could be good cross-training for better-developed legs. And no impact.
What's the better option?
