Jakob will retire after winning another medal(s) in Paris 2024.
1) He will have trained for 17 years in 2024
2) He is tired of running already and is excited about new things, as stated in some interviews.
3) He is now engaged to his longtime girlfriend and will be married by 2024 (children?)
4) No distance runner has medaled in more than two olympics, other than Paavo Nurmi in the 1920's.
Eliud Kipchoge has medalled in four olympics.
True, but none of the medals were in 1500m. Therefore I can correct it to "no middle distance runner". And since Jakob is not gonna be doing marathon, his limit would be around 2 olympic games, like everybody else.
In addition, Ingebrigtsens are doing well financially and living in one of the best countries in the world, therefore they're not being pushed on to staying longer because of financial reasons.
