I have been dealing with an injury for over a year now...... i've seen about 11 diff. doctors along with getting 5 mri's, a cat scan, and a few x-rays. I've had very little luck in getting a true diagnosis. I know where it hurts and try explaining it to the doctors but i've been very displeased w/ the attention they give me. It seems like they just want you to go get anohter test or send you out the door w/ the bill.
Now the insurance company probably hates my guts w/ all these tests but i'm only 27 and i'm not goign to be 'crippled' this early in life...i want ot find out whats' goign on.
I know this might sound dumb, but after everythign i've been through, would an insurance company consider a full body scan? I'm doubting they would but otherwise i just keep on goign in and getting mri's or x-rays which is costing them a ton of money. It woudl be nice if a radiologist could examine my full body and see something misaligned, fractured, or whatever it may be but they've been ineffective in finding anything in just single location films. (upper back, lower back, pelvis/ hips) i've had all those areas check but it's obviously impossible to tell if the rest of the body is aligned at the time when u can't see eveyrthing else.
What do you think my best bet is? how much woudl it cost? Do they even do the procedure?
