BIG BOX -
I looked for some photos of what I was talking about. You may have to piece the links back together as I'm not sure how well they'll carry over here.
Motorcycle going too slow and forcing Ramaala to the left side of the road:

Is it just me or does it seem to anyone else that running 26.2 miles with a motorcycle in your face might be an irritant? And if he slowed down and got in your way 100 ft from the finish line during a sprint finish?
The NYRR guy standing in Ramaala's way, pointing him to the middle of the road, and not getting out of his way:

The guy is standing in the middle of the road. What the hell is that about?

The finish line goes from one side of the road to the other:

Why didn't they just let him run straight ahead to the line on the left side of the road? Instead they pointing him to the middle and probably cost him a step or two on Tergat. Of course they want the photo of the winner breaking the tape, but what if that cost Ramaala the win? The first to finish is the winner; the tape is just ceremony.
I'm not saying there was an egregious wrong, but if I were Ramaala, I'd be pretty annoyed.
