Will Robert Johnson’s replacement be announced tomorrow since his contract ends today? I want to know since I’m on the portal and would like to see who’s oregon’s distance coach… is Ben Thomas staying?
If it is information that the athletes have, it is not confidential. A young person has the right to vent when their future changes without their input.
We have lost 4 good coaches here due to one issue. Lack of organizational oversight. It is comically, needlessly sad situation for WSU track. If you are considering a position here, insist on all promises in writing. All verbal promises will not be honored. These positions are posted now because the HC has exhausted his contact search. Make sure you come here and perform due diligence before signing anything. Good Luck to all.
So classless of her to release confidential information. Hope the NCAA punishes her, this is immature and inappropriate.

As a former Bruin... while doing my best to avoid upsetting anyone who has a position one way or another on this has anything official actually been announce about the UCLA coaches? Or is this still just a rumor?

So where does the lack of organizational oversight come from the HC or the AD? What promises were not fulfilled?
And can anyone provide specifics as to why these 4 coaches left?

It is a warning for unsuspecting applicants. Apply for one of the positions and experience it for yourself. Then report to all.

The coaches and athletes have been informed. Both Elizondo and O'Neil were not retained. Nothing official by university but it is not a rumour. For the record, O'Neil was loved by the athletes and couldn't have done a better job with what he had. The state the UCLA program is in currently is certainly not the fault of the distance coaches.
As for the social media post from the young lady, it was in poor taste but it is certainly not 'classified information.' If I was a college coach, I certainly would not recruit her.
I will not be moving forward with the opportunity and the rumors I had initially heard are seemingly very accurate. The issues are both both AD and HC related. I was able to discuss with 2 of the 4 departed and am shocked at the situation there. After talking to the HC he is extremely nice and I was genuinely interested in the position. However, there are many people confirming he is intelligently sly and deceptive; partly why he is able to string people along. My biggest advice would be to do your due diligence.

Ask around, the dysfunctionality is not a secret.
This whole situation is exhausting. Buyer beware.
Peace OUT
Instead of saying go see for yourself why not give direct insight on the problem(s). Complaining without a valid reason just makes you sound bitter & inexperienced. That’s like saying a coach is “hard to work for” then not being able to provide real examples. Every program has dysfunction.

Why are so many people criticizing this person for a social media post? It was literally nothing. All she said was her coaches got fired. The school should have posted an article about the firing of the coaches immediately after they informed the team. It's not confidential, it's not a secret.
There are too many UCLA buffoons here posting with their own hidden agenda.
