Andrea groove and her minions is definitely out at Toledo. New administration is fed up with incompetence and cleaning house. T&F kids are transferring and giving up, a once successful team now in shambles.

We saw Faith Linga on the portal last year as a juco transfer. However her transcripts were a mess, lots of red flags, and she asked for 3 scholarships as it was a package deal with her friends that were not that good. It was an easy pass for us.
But let me get this straight. Are you saying that one 34.20 in the 10k for an NCAA qualifying spot, every 3,4 years for 2 full time distance coaches and several volunteers, and 18 scholarships to spend in distance is a sign of excellent coaching? 😂🤣

Andrea isnt going anywhere as they have one of the top recruiting classes in the country for next year. She is probably using the UCONN job to help her case at Toledo which is a smart move considering 90% of coaches get paid like doo doo.

No I was simply stating what I think an ncaa level kid. And showing that Grove has recruited or developed one like the poster questioned.
Top of my head, 1500m runner and discus thrower, by your definition NCAA level kids, recruited and developed within past 3 years of Andrea Grove taking over at Toledo.
Senior Kyesha Neal will throw the discus and senior Liz Weiler will run in the 3,000m steeplechase at the 2016 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships this week.

Not sure where a D2 coach, whose teams finished 5th (Women) and 9th (Men) in the conference xc championships and didn't have a single All Conference runner, would go. Not a hot coaching prospect.
Harsh! Not every coach is a conference winner each and every year! If you have ever coached you would know this! And most AD's do not care how good your xc and track team is to be honest. Unless you are at a P5 school. Get me some numbers and be average and no noise from your kids. That's what they want. Oh and good grades and graduation rates!
She’s probably bringing another IU Legend in like Bob Kennedy to match their pedigree of success as a program but probably will be joe burrow in all honesty.
You bring up a really good observation in general… excellent coaches leave programs in good shape, with strong performers and a robust incoming class of recruits.
