Honestly, learning about Buddhism and mediation definitely helps. Practicing meditation and being in the moment while racing has taught me to relax quite a bit more. Simply being aware of your body and what you are feeling, accepting that it is painful, and letting that be ok, along with calming your racing thoughts, allows you to relax and run harder.
