Whew, Korir is one ungainly runner, knock kneed, an over pronating foot crazy arm swings.
All the women look smooth and full or running still.

I think Yeshaneh looks the freshest of the women.

Did shalane start with the elite women?
No - started with the masses in the first wave.
Thx. Hmmm. She’ll probably pass Pappas before the finish
Cheptoo being Lagat’s sister should be a bigger story imo

Seth looks buttered. 1:24:48 at 25k. He appears to have slowed to almost 6:00 pace and his estimated finish is 2:23:01.
Estimated 2:33:14 finish. 7:47 per mile pace last 5k.
DO NOT get coaches of athletes, family members of athletes, or teammates of athletes to commentate on international races PLEASE

Seth can't break 2:20. I'm shocked.

So no coverage of the men finishing. The men finish so closely behind and they will focus on the women showing them all finish.
Announcers said Seidel set American Course Record by 2.5 minutes. Didn't know that was in play, that's impressive.
Gotta love the emotion and excitement that Lagat had for his sister.
Did John anderson just say something racist?
Where did Jepchirchir's kick come from? And Lagat must be so proud of Viola. How did he react?
That is a good race for Molly.
Impressed with Seidel's race. She held together very well over the last 6 miles.
Impressed with Molly. PB and American record at NYC after Olympic fatigue.
Wow powerful Peres!
Bravo.
When I watched the UK coverage of the London marathon, they were constantly checking in on the top British athletes. We have heard ZERO coverage of the top Americans in this race. That is also of interest to us!
