Do I think its possible to send a human back to our human past and experience it? No.
But has someone else pointed out, there are indeed elements of time travel possible, depending on how you define it. Time dilation being one, but we lack the technology to accelerate something with a human in it to the required velocity.
There are also theories in quantum physics regarding "many worlds" and "determinism." Think of it this way, if laws of physics are immutable and we understand them entirely, and each particle (down to quantum levels) behave based on those laws, and if you know all attributes about them, then you could argue that we are doing only exactly what the initial state at big bang has determined we will do. You think you are deciding to run or not today, but only one of those options will be true, so to speak. This ties in with philosophy and the idea that no one actually has free will.
