Your post is confusing, or maybe I’m missing something, are you referring to Manangoi or Kiprop? I think logically you are referring to Kiprop and you may have a point about his difficulty in getting back to his former level but I hesitate to endorse what you are saying 100% because if he’s announcing his come back then surely he has taken the trouble to verify his form and assess whether he could in fact get back to a decent level in some running event because this might be the issue of him - not having the legs to run fast in the 1500 but moving up to a longer distance - the 5000, 10,000 m or half marathon because I doubt with his size and technique that he would ever become a successful marathon runner on the world stage.
