Is 6x 1 mile at 10k pace a good workout for half marathon training? 400m jog recovery?
Alternatives?
Already doing tempos and longer repeats at half marathon pace.

Yeah, it's a big 10k specific workout so maybe 5 x 1 instead. Decent amount of rest like the mentioned 400 jog. Good recovery afterwards. 1k repeats are good too. 8-10 @ 10k (:90-2:00 rest) or 12-15 @ threshold (1:00 rest). 800 repeats too -- 8-14 x 800 on short rest. A combo workout like 5x800-2x1mile-5x800 could be fun. I wouldn't be afraid of running slower at the start of these workouts. If you get to 8k/10k pace by the middle or end then you're prolly fine for speed with a half marathon goal race. Also assuming you're throwing in some strides here & there just to work on your turnover.
