ok, so Steelman finished just ahead of Tuohy last time they were in the same race (and Tuohy ran well), and your takeaway is that Tuohy and Chimel are on the same level, and Steelman is behind them? Im sorry, this is nonsense. A bit bizarre.

Indeed, steelman is behind them right now, put respect on kelsey chmiel because the girl deserves it, shes the best runner on the team right now
Steelman finished the last race only 0.7 seconds ahead of tuohy who did not ran well, kt was not happy w her race in nd, it was not a very smart race but she still finished high up
NC State top runners should be
Steelman
Chmiel
Tuohy
But instead it is
Chmiel
Tuohy-Steelman
We'll see in ACC XC Championships on whos really the 123
A friendly competition never hurt nobody

Yeah I guess I'm being naive assuming byu will be right where they were 8 months ago, but aren't a bunch of the BYU runner's professional hopefuls? What do you guys think happened in the eight months were they just lucky to all be at their best at the same time last spring?
Anyway NC State looks good. Chmiel title contender, Tuohy super strong, Bush and Hayes looked like really solid potential 4 through 7, if Steel Man and everybody else stays healthy it sure looks like they have the numbers
That’s the spirit MidFootStriker! Lol
Gotta stay open minded... but even if they had Steelman their spread would have been 42, things are different on a tough 6K course
Also there current number four and number five are only looking like maybe 50 and 75 at Nationals. What would you say maybe 40% of the talent pool was at nuttycombe...if Byu can get back to form they could cruise...

I believe chmiel is one big reason why katelyn is progressing well, kelsey is prob the best running partner u could have, annie said that its such a joy watching them run and compete w each other

This is a thread about the biggest NCAA showdown before nationals. Suggest you take this to the HS section so you can talk about the greatest HS girls of all time.
And men's teams are part of the subject also but getting about 1% of the attention.

I might have if I wasn't constantly getting harangued by morons trying to control my freedoms. Go to North Korea if you need things so regimented. Anyway I had an inkling bubbling somewhere in my subconscious, but the moreon patrol kept it from surfacing

nc state only ran 2 of their top runners today and they are just 11 points down of new mexico (idk about their line up)

That's hilarious! But seriously anyone notice that girl who is running alongside the girls race , she was running through thickets right off the course, it was really weird,. Some guy did it for a little bit in the guys race but I'd rather not focus on tthe guys, I'd rather focus on the women's race and the woman who is running next to it
With Steelman not running doesn’t seem too surprising.
What’s shocking to me is how much worse some teams have gotten since March. Stanford 3rd at nationals and only 16th today. Michigan State 4th to 12th, Boise State 9th to 24th, etc.

She was probably a tuohy fan, who was pondering the fact that Touhy is currently doing way better than all her former rivals.
And it really blew her mind that she could do it coming off knee surgery. :)
Probably an assistant coach.

I saw her as well. Couldn't tell what she was doing. She did this at a few points during the race.

For Stanford, Donaghu graduates, Heymach still mia, (Lawson too)
Random question: I saw Theo Quax mentioned. Is he related to the legendary (late) kiwi Dick Quax?
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
