If Salazar pushed her to lose an unhealthy amount of weight along with prescribing an unhealthy diet and berated her in front of team, he did a disservice to her. Claiming that "Distance runners should be skinny" is not a good defense. If Cain's body changed after HS and she couldn't run at the weight Salazar wanted her to, it's not her fault
None of us were there, but people that were, will give depositions and maybe testify at trial. Nike will try to put the blame on her parents and maybe that will be a winning argument or maybe not.
I don't understand why there is such universal support for Salazar in this forum when it comes to Cain. He is a jerk and maybe a jury will rule against him and Nike. Regardless, there is nothing frivolous about the lawsuit.
Cain's case is unique and posters claiming a win for her will open the door for other athletes because their feelings were hurt, is nonsense.
