I have very low cadence, it gets a bit higher (165) at half marathon pace (6:00 per mile). I tried to make it higher but coudl not do it, so now i just run at 150.
Me too. I have always had a very long stride even though I'm only 5'5"
I don't hit 180 until I'm running 4.30 mile pace.

In my 20s, about 145lbs, men's size 10, I did some manual counts 92-94 (184-188) for the range from about 10:00 to 6:00 (and more like 200 at race efforts).
Age 44, 166 lbs, size 11, counted steps from a video running on the treadmill: 180 at 8:57 pace, 183 at 8:00 pace, 184.5 at 6:58 pace, 186.5 at 6:00 pace, 198 at 5:00 pace.
Age 51-52, 150s, men's size 11.5, 176-178 dog jogging about 10:00 pace, haven't done manual counts, watch is probably flakey saying 170-175 at 8:00 pace, think it's still low 180s.

It’s odd to watch people running taking tiny little baby steps. So awkward.

How could you possibly have that cadence at that pace? Are your legs only 12 inches long? Is your stride length two inches?
