I don't know if it's weather-related, Jordan's choice, or just a more realistic estimate, but Believe in the Run (the marketing/shoe company) has way, way backed off their predictions here - they had all this publicity about "three straight sub-2:30 attempts!" (i.e. September 29 instagram post) but are now pitching it as "the three fastest consecutive marathons!" without regard to time (or a more holistic goal time).
No disrespect - I have the same PR as this guy and I am confident I couldn't break 4 hours the next day - but just sort of a weird marketing move, IMO. Then again... look at their other posts.
LRC note. This thread was initially entitled,"Resident in orthopedic surgery will attempt 3 consecutive sub-2:30 marathons on Sat., Sun., Monday in Baltimore, Chicago, Boston" but we changed it to reflect the races.
