In the past you used to be able to get dropped off at South St and take a runners bus to the start from there. Is that not happening this year? I'm staying near 495 so driving into Boston just to take a bus back seems stupid.

I am trying to find out the same info- note BAA is running buses back to South Street after the marathon I would like to confirm shuttles before I go there
Says in the guide there will be the usual shuttle to the start from South Street.
Yeah, I'm with you, and disappointed I have to drive all the way into Boston the day before just to get my bib. In the 2021 Participant Guide (on page 6) it says there will be shuttles running from 52 South St to the start, but that parking there is limited. I think the bus will go to the Middle/High School dropoff area, not the start itself. But I'm just a rookie and don't know anything.
