Cool to see she reads Letsrun, but I do feel bad for her considering how rude and insensitive you anonymous 50yrs are.
Jordan, if you're reading this, you're gonna crush it in Boston. Don't listen to the haters.

I'm 58 and I wish her well. There are jealous trolls of all ages male and female who hate the fact that she is faster than them.
Don't you mean Jordan Hasssay?
Has she ever won/medalled in a major competition since graduating from college? If it wasn't for these boards I genuinely wouldn't have heard of her.
What am embarrassing thing to admit. I wonder if she's actually the Unkle?
Jordan, I love you! ❤️💕 maybe Boston will provide some redemption
Sweet. So she'll see my prediction for her at Boston to be 2:36:42 or a DNF.
The OP is referring to a good article on her from RW where she talks about the messagebaord.
“People say this and that on the message boards. You don’t think I feel the exact same way? Nothing you say is news to me. I would like to have a great race, too. It’s been awhile….They have a right to think I’m done. They can’t see my training and my life. I need to prove it. That’s what motivates me. I want to prove that I can be back and be great again.”

Also in 2019, her dad said he was a big fan of the boards.
She's been on the message boards for years - she was all over Dyestat even back in high school. Must have a super thick skin to be able to read everything and not have it bother her.

That’s because you genuinely don’t follow running because you genuinely would have seen her with 3rd place in Boston and Chicago. You would have also seen genuinely win Gate River or the 20k champs.
Shes genuinely had two rough years.

Ummm, ever heard of Jordan Hassssay?
Of all the running pics from recent past, the hug between her and Galen stands out the most.
Marathoners are obviously all necessarily thin but that picture accompanying the article is absolutely alarming.
Interesting to read they think she is in 2:25 shape given her recent string of performances. I hope they are correct.

It probably does bother her though.
But ya she's still got to figure it out. Her race in New Haven wasn't very good, seeing that she wasn't in the top 10 I assumed she dropped out. But you could say the same about Jared Ward, he was pretty far back as well. But I wouldn't be surprised if either one of them was top 10 in their respective Boston/New York marathon this fall. Now I would be surprised if they were top 5 though. That starts to be a type of performance that you'd expect at least a decent 20k a couple months prior.
I’m a Jordan fan. I’m 38 but we lost our fathers at about the same time. Jordan does things the right way and I was cheering for her (among others) on the streets of Atlanta even when she was struggling during the trials. I think there is more success in her future but even if there isn’t I’ll still like her as an athlete. As for her reading the boards— if I were an elite runner I would still read running message boards because I’m into running. Doesn’t mean the person seeks out threads about themselves or even cares what people say/think about them.
There really is nothing unusual about a sudden, “unexplained” disastrous performance with athletes experiencing the health issues Jordan very visibly seems to be struggling with. For many, it is that crash that prompts them to finally get help. It seems irresponsible of her coaches to not only be putting her out there in this state but predicting times for her that it is unlikely her health can sustain.
It was fairly obvious by her junior year at Oregon what her painfully swollen cheeks signalled. When she went to Alberto, we all know how intense he was about weight and the lengths he went to with his athletes.
She’s a lovely person and so hardworking - she deserves health and well-being and this is sad and dangerous to see. And it’s sad that we are supposed to pretend we can’t see it. She can have a strong career again, but the people around her need to help fix this.
My respect for Jordan's dad 📈📈📈
It's very hard not to like Jordan. From her interviews to the latest article, she seems like a good person with an admirable perspective. I like how she said she feels the same way when she sees comments after a bad race. She has thick skin and can handle the forum. It would be awesome if she ever admits to posting anonymously.
that is one fast lady
wish her the best in Boston and beyond
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
