$30-$40 worth of resistance bands.
$15 worth of resistance bands (the kind that are a length of rubber tube with caribiners on the ends). I use them a lot and they’re great.
I like them and got another $15 worth of resistance bands later (the kind that are just large rubber bands), but I don’t really use those ones so they weren’t worth it.
My first pair of running shoes

I'm not talking about a major life change, but something that you use frequently and really didn't cost much. Here are four I use almost every day. I can't imagine not using them now.
Shavewell Fogless Shower Mirror, $12. It's so much easier to shave in the shower.
Ninja IQ Blender, $59 on sale. I blend my coffee with it every day and make smoothies most evenings.
Bodum French Press, $16. I started making coffee with a French Press 15 years ago and never looked back.
Timex Tapscreen HRM watch, $60 used. I bought one of these watches about 7 years ago and loved it. When people couldn't figure out the secret to using the tap screen (fingernail taps), these $120 watches were dumped on eBay and I bought 4 more, usually in the $60 range. It's my go-to running watch.
1) Loofa with body wash
2) electric toothbrush
Ban from Twitter.
Cost = $0.00
Benefit = better mental health!

So you are really just a Steve McQueen wannabe. Explains your username and desperate attempts at bravado.

You might think that one over a bit.

When I first moved into my house 10 years ago, I bought one of those Power Tower pull-up bar/dip stations for less than $90. It's the best money I have ever spent. I've used it consistently the entire time and it's held up great.
Same exact for me.
Pull ups, dips. Don’t need much else.
Get some!!

Genuinely curious...why do you blend your coffee?
For me, $30 aeropress.
I make the coffee with a French Press, pour it into the blender, and add an ounce of MCT oil and blend it. It comes out the consistency of a latte. MCT oil is the C8 and C10 oils in coconut oil. It's healthy and gives me enough energy to go until afternoon without eating or having food cravings. Sometimes as a treat, I'll add Optimum Nutrition chocolate peanut butter whey protein as well. It comes out like hot cocoa, but better, in my opinion.
I have an Aeropress. I've tried it side-by-side with my French Press. I prefer the French Press, but I can see why some would prefer the Aeropress.

Sorry I had to. Low hanging fruit.
In all seriousness - library card
Easy quiz question. My first pair of running shoes. Onitsuka Tiger Marathons. Bought it at school from a guy selling them out of the back of his powder blue Pinto for $10.41 including tax in 1968. Wore them completely through the sole. Owned another four pair after that.
Hamilton Beach indoor grill for maybe $20 about 20 years ago. I was still living in Las Vegas and eating comped buffets every night. But I had a bad medical checkup with very high triglycerides. I knew I had to make a change.
The indoor grill allowed me to load up the freezer with stuff like chicken breasts, salmon, steaks, pork chops and so forth. I buy them on sale then wrap in aluminum foil in freeze. Defrost then enjoy. Now my checkups always earn raves like, "best numbers I've seen all month."
Obviously lots of fruits and veggies to supplement. 85% dark chocolate from Aldi. Gave up on sodas. Nothing but water, almond milk, green tea, and the morning smoothie.
Lately I've been a bit sloppy, after buying an air fryer. That lends to stuff like fries and onion rings. I began getting a headache, which was like my system supplying a hint.
Recently I bought another Hamilton Beach indoor grill. The old one still works but I wanted to grab a replacement too early instead of too late. Very similar except the new one has adjustable temperature instead of fixed.
Another one would be a mini cycle for about $25. It rests on the ground and you use it like a bike while seated on a couch, etc. Very convenient for when I'm too lazy to run, swim or walk. I'll watch an hour long program and cycle throughout.
Only problem is that it's very light and tends to shift so you have to place something behind it to brace.
Not to be a smart arse but I would say LetsRun message board? It’s inexpensive, full of advice, humor and smart arse posters and yet it feels like family 😁
