Don't worry about your weight! You are are still growing! If I could go back in time, I would give myself this advice a thousand times over. So long as you focus on running and recovering properly, your weight will settle at a number that is good for you. Fixating on weight has sent sooo many talented and dedicated athletes down a pathway of further injuries and poor mental health.
Things that could be really helpful to focus on are: 1. running recovery (are you sleeping enough?), 2. are you in a relaxed head space? (being overly stressed about other life things can have an impact on running and recovery), 3. are you eating enough? (if you are cutting carbs you can really tank your energy levels. If you are cutting fat, you might be messing up your hormone cycling. Check out Shalane's Run Fast East Slow), and finally 4. some of the little things go a long ways! You can spend some time focusing on stretching or foam rolling, doing foot strengthening exercises, or more mobility drills. All of these will help ensure that you stay healthy-- and staying healthy and injury free is the best way to continue to see improvement-- and enjoy running! I believe Lauren Fleshman has written much more on the dangers of focusing on weight and other good things to focus n to improve.
Best of luck in your season! Keep your head up!
