Haven't seen any other threads mentioning her but she seems to be off this season.

She literally set a national record this year people on the website are absolute jokes
she's still my backup after shelby.
yet another NOP runner who came all the way from Germany to be coached by AlSal and we have since found out like 99% of the NOP was never coached by AlSal and was coached by Julian all along

The joke is on anyone who dismisses the question. She set the record in February then had several injuries and didn't compete again until the week before the Olympics. There was so little news about it I ended up checking the German papers online in mid summer. They detailed the injuries and said she was going to try to run in Tokyo but wouldn't be close to her best.
If you watch the LetsRun interview with Koko at Eugene she was very enthused because she said it was like her season was just starting.
Journalists should ask about the rehab rumours.

Yeah and guess what? PRE WAS ANOTHER NATIONAL RECORD. 2 in seventh month and still asking what is up with her? What exactly is you’re point?

To add to this injury is so so common with pro runners especially ones that like to stay that lean. Nothing out of the ordinary for someone like her to be out for 3-4 month after training hard for a record.

She even looks like Allie O. It may be only a matter a time before she or someone comes forward that she's got the same problems.
She probably read the Lets Run world infamous message boards, got sad, and went home devastated.

Not exactly off. She was injured and got back to competition only on July 25th. Her subsequent results were quite decent in the circumstances, just that they were not good enough to make headlines. The best two:
07 Aug Olympic Games 10k 8th in 31:01.97
03 Sep Diamond League Brussels 5k 8th in 14:35.88

Not much of a fan I see.

They all look the same... The athlete who does look a bit like and older and slightly more robust Koko is Helen Schlachtenhaufen. And there are more of the tall lanky type, like McColgan, but tiny Allie O. is of a very different built. Klosterhalfen is obviously not in 2019 shape after her injury but she was before all European born and American women in the Tokyo 10000m race which was her second race of the season. The DL races since then are roughly on that level, 14:35 is actually a pretty good mark. (It would have been an US (or German) record only 4 year ago.)
This post was removed.
Also Schweizer.
Klosterhalfen was down since Salazar. 14:35 was the most encouraging performance I've seen from her since 2019. It was Doha 2019 when Salazar's ban started. He was on his way there and not allowed to enter. She was a 14:20s runner then and seemed ready to go faster with ideal pacing and good conditions. 31:01 isn't even close to what a 14:20s runner like her should do at 10k. I'd think well under 30 was commensurate at her best. It was 2017 when she ran 1:59.65 and 2:04's her best since. 3:59 in 2019, nothing since at 1500m. She's 16 seconds slower at 3k (8:36) than 2019 (8:20). 9 seconds at 5. Her best since.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
