Belicheat and the Cheating Cheatriots need a new cheating quarterback since they lost Bradycheat.
Cam Newton is done, the guy was flat out horrible.

I wonder if the Ravens will take a shot on him? He might fit into their offense better than most.
Doesn't matter to him. He's insanely rich. Now he can focus on his true passion, wearing women's clothing.

All he would have to do for the Ravens is look good sitting on the bench.
No joke, an NFL backup quarterback is the best gig in all of sports.
You are probably the third or fourth highest paid guy on the team, making millions.
You don't get hit in practice.
You don't get hit in games because you don't play.
You get to workout, stay fit and play a sport you like for a living.
Milk it until it's done. Retire healthy and rich at age 35 or whatever.
Boom
The way he was prancing about dancing to rap music during practice was ridiculous. I can't believe the Patriots allowed him to do that.

You forgot the biggest perk: Nearly every fan believes you would be much greater than the starter if only you were put in the games.

Lol your Houston Texans are the biggest embarrassment in the NFL. Those in glass houses shouldn't tell other organizations how to conduct themselves.
He missed 3 practices due to covid protocols from not understanding the rules, didn't play well in preseason. The Patriots mean business. I was thinking they should start Mac Jones but this shows they are not messing around, to do it first week. Kind of surprising news but perhaps Cam requested a release after they named Jones the starter. Pretty hard to go from the MVP to struggling and injury, to getting released. He's not that old but maybe he is near retirement. Another team will sign him as a backup or injury replacement.

That's a good point, but in an ideal world you're a backup for someone like Brady, Mahomes or some other superstar where there is basically no risk of coming into the game to either get hit or prove that you're not as good as the starter.

I don't deny that the Texans are a joke but still, Belichick is a famous control freak, and to allow Cam to prance about with rap music booming during practice... just amazing.

Any opinion from jgault about this shocking move by his Pats?

But neither you nor your city knows how to run a football organization.

I never claimed to be a football guru. I enjoy watching it. You are trashing the Texans' organisation but they have won 5 division titles in like 6 or 7 years. Someone knows how to run the organization. Which franchise do you support?

False.
Further, they won't be winning another division title anytime soon. Yet you criticize how Belichick let a QB listen to music in practice, as if that is of utmost importance. Hilariously misguided emphasis. Very Houston-esque.
It’s been interesting seeing these hybrid QBs over the years fly high at first then come crashing down to the reality of the physical toil of the NFL.
