ShaCarri and her entourage were in TrackTown Pizza as I left tonight. Nevermind the dead last finish, her biggest L is drinking a canned beer…with a straw!

Just got back from the meet - it was a great one. Best performance of the meet was ETH - and this race was a classic for many reasons.
It was a funny atmosphere in the stadium because people were fully anticipating Richardson to at least compete as this was her "Olympic final" and the crowd was almost in a stunned murmur after 60m of the race as this unfolded. It didn't even really dawn on everyone that Thompson had run 10.54 until a few seconds after it came up on the stadium clocks and then a huge cheer went up.
I just got home and watched the race and that post-race interview was part of it. Wow, just wow. Like I literally just said "wow" out loud 4-5 times during what became an increasingly cringeworthy rant after Lewis Johnson simply asked her what her expectations were facing the Jamaican ladies post Olympics.
I think my stance is slowly changing on Sha'Carri because something is clearly very, very wrong here. I think I am more in the "concerned for her well-being" camp because we now have a laughably bogus excuse story on the weed topic from trials, through to this angry tirade about "not being done", "being the 6th fastest ever", hands waving all over the place, stuff having to be bleeped out - I'm not quite sure she has the mental/emotional faculties to handle this profession at this level.
Her performances on the track (slower than the national high school girls freshman record) and off the track (the interview and social media rants) are just bizarre.
If’n you are going to destroy all competition, steez is accepted. If’n anything else you should focus on clause #1. Aka some important advice I got from a grey beard : don’t get cute, young blood..
So she can beat up on US runners at domestic meets but this is 2 times this season she went against a good international field and folded.
Hmm after smoking a joint she ran a flying time - maybe pot is a PED
Check out this PR hack:
Not till third paragraph mention of placement. Nike going all out on this person. Title is forewarning us; we will continually hear about her. Her fluffers here will rejoice.
I just watched the interview.... I didn't think it was as bad as this board made it out to be - she even congratulated the winners. Definitely appeared to be overcompensating for the loss though with the talk.
Swing as my other post got deleted thought you all would like to see this epic shot again
Serious question, could those long nails cost her some time? Not to mention the question of hygiene and nails that long. They've actually been shown to be a possible reservoir for COVID-19 transmission.

No surprise. She's off the juice for now. That "marijuana" 1 month ban was a front for a more serious implication where she was let off easy. No doubt about it.
Yes! That's what I've been saying. The pot was a front. One month suspension is better than 4 years.
But also 1-3 months is the typical ban for marijuna usage, so it's not that suspicious
Well congrats to Teahna Daniels for PRing. Great progression and solid performance amongst a strong field
Sha’Carri is very class conscious.
She has no class, and everyone's conscious of it.

Nike makes interesting decisions. Dalilah is world champ, former olympic champ., and is drop dead gorgeous. Does she get her own commercial? .
I always wondered why Nike didn’t market her more after she broke the WR twice. Very talented and beautiful, and does some modeling on the side. She would’ve been perfect
"I'm the 6th fastest in the world ever! No one can ever take that away from me!"
What a wildly telling statement

Tells me she's an idiot, in more ways than one.
That chick is straight up nuts

ShaCarri caved. She wanted no part of that. She got smoked. And the icing on the cake are the Jamaican trio smirking at her as she ran her mouth in the post race interview.
All that talk looks pretty stupid now, eh?
Agree. Talk is cheap. She is all talk at this point. Glad the others ran so well, came ready to run, talked with actions, not words alone.
There's three types of athlete:
Those that talk about it.
Those that talk about it and do it.
And those that just do it.
This woman should get off social media, and media of all sorts, and become a "just do it", if she's capable, then perhaps she can become a toned down "talk about it and do it".
I just watched the interview and didn't think it was embarassing at all. After reading this thread, I was expecting something cringe worthy like Kanye West hijacking Taylor Swift's award acceptance. I didn't think there was anything wrong with it either. What the hell are you guys talking about? Y'all are picking at straws. Shelley Ann Frasier Price smiled at the camera and someone here made it sound like she was throwing shade at SR? You guys sound like the drama queens I work with, making a bit deal about nothing.

Just wonderin' re the poor performance.
Could it be that since she got pinged for the wacky baccy she's now really, really scared about getting pinged for other stuff, so is now off all sauce of any kind.

Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
