Been reading all I can about 'Double T' workouts.
Looks like the Ingebrigtsen brothers, Mike Smith [NAU, Rachel Schneider] are all users of this system.
How often are these performed? Weekly? 1-2x a month?
From what I understand you do about 70% of the total workload you would usually do, but do it 2x in a day.
So instead of 8x mile @ T, you'd do AM: 5-6x mile (90) and PM: 20-25x400 (30) or 4-5x Mile (90) again @ T.
Do you do this at usually Threshold pace (88% VO2?) or is it closer to a Sub T or Steady State (80-84% VO2) effort?
If anyone has anymore articles/info on this training please share.
Is having a blood lactate reader helpful in these workouts to make sure you're under 4mmol? How much does one of these cost?
