Update on nicks training. He has taken the next logical step and purchased and altitude tent to prepare for Leadville. Also completed a 50 mile run during the night.
I expect him to shock a lot of letsrunners at the race.

he def stepped his training up a lot. seemed like he went from 50 mpw to 100 mpw with very little in between and only one 100 mile week. which would be pretty stupid for most people, but he somehow never gets injured so i guess it doesnt matter. seems like too little too late tho given the race is this month, but again, if you just want to finish and walk it in then he will. i dont have any doubts about his mental toughness.
The mountains will destroy him.

No, but the altitude and the distance will.
Is Nick asking for volunteers to help pace him and keep his muscles well-oiled for photo ops during the race?

If there was only a compound I could take to stimulate protein synthesis so I could train more without breaking down....
....I know it must be his all-natural supplements!

This guy is the most juiced up non pro athlete of ALL TIME. It’s actually hilarious.
wait a minute. That was 26 minutes of him talking about himself? Is that normal?
He is going all in on this race.
I predict a top 20% finish. Nick is a self made guy.
He will never give up. Very inspirational . He’s willing to put his money we’re his mouth is.

I predict a DNF in Winfeld or latest at Twin Lakes on the way in.
These fitness guys have no idea what will hit them in a long ultra like Leadville. All their "fitness" is pretty much useless.
I don't know why anyone would waste his time on this guy. He's a walking pharma.

No, it's not normal... usually much longer than 26 minutes.

I don't get why people subscribe to this guy and watch his videos. What is the appeal? I couldn't get past a few minutes. Just not interesting. I guess not many people are into stuff I like either. But 640k+ subscribers? Really? I don't get it.

Kim Kardashian has 240 MILLION instagram subscribers and Kylie Jenner has 254 MILLION. Who the f$%^ are the Kardashians and why the hell does anybody give a damn about that family? Jim Morrison was right, people are strange.
what if Leadville did a drug test and tested him? would a positive mean he gets banned for life from ultra trail events?

Bump.
Game day awaits.
I didnt watch the video, but this post is 2 weeks old, when did he step up his training? If it was just a few weeks ago well then its meaningless. Nothing you do a few weeks out from 100 miler makes any difference.
