She always looks nonplussed.

i don't think that looks good for ajee
I’m very happy the NBC sports feed is not dumbed down at all, and not USA-centric when unwarranted (eg when Ferlic was uncompetitive). John Anderson earned the gig and props on getting serious announcers alongside him.
I thought Wilson ran a poor race. She was 4th with 10 meters to go! I thought the announcers were also wrong when they said she was in a good place (5th and boxed in) with less than 200m to go.
I like the non-jingoistic nature of this broadcast.
The ROC uniforms are pretty funny.
USA could win 1-2-3 in the 800m, but only if Ajee gets it together.
I don’t think Ajees good enough this year. Goule, Alemu, Reekie and Almanza I’d all expect to beat her.
Anyone else shocked about bishop??? Sad it ended this way for her after a long road back

So you have Ajee finishing no better than 7th overall? Who'd a thunk it just a few months ago.
That was odd seeing Samba and Dos Santos in the same prelim. I figure both to challenge for a medal, at least top 5 in the final.

I know! Event has taken a step forward and she’s unfortunately taken a step back.

Yes they had like a minute nuanced discussion of the Jamaican hurdler Hyde’s adjustment from running the 110mH to 400mH. You never get that! And it was interesting
Warholm is gonna dislocate a shoulder some day the way he slaps them. He always seems to get an outside lane which suits his racing style perfectly.

He prefers and requests lane 7 when he runs the diamond league races.

It seems like he always gets a good draw in championships too.
need john james to comment on karsten warholms slapping
Wow, Kendziera looked stretched so tight you could bounce a quarter off him...49.23 but he gets through.
I don’t understand the Ajee hate for this race. She looked better today than she did in the trials finals to be frank. No way anyone should’ve expected a medal after that

Hate?? You don't understand it, because it's imaginary.

Fine, pick “pessimism” if you want to be a typical LRC pedant.
