That's the only one that compares (somewhat) to what Simone Biles did. But even then, he was not letting down any teammates.

Maybe so but it's pretty myopic to remember an all-time great athlete for their worst moment. Duran was a savage. Had like 120 fights, won over 100. Fought in five decades. Five division champ. Only boxer to beat a prime Leonard.
Biles might be the greatest gymnast in history. And like Duran in the ring, not being there mentally could end up with her getting seriously hurt or killed.
Unless you've been an elite athlete in a sport where lack of total concentration could maim or kill you, you need to recognize you have no business rightfully weighing in on the issue beyond "That's too bad."
