Quit team comp after the vault. Not injury related. Bet she made the decision before the comp but I think the rules require each team member to compete on at least one event.

Heard she was injured going into the Olympics. Ankle or foot. When she vaulted something when wrong.

They already said it is not injury related. Mental problem.
She had her legged wrapped after a landing on the vault and consulted the trainers, as reported by ESPN. Yeah, that sounds like a mental problem. Unless you have a source for that claim, it sounds like you're just a typical LRC woman basher.

They just now said that there is mixed messaging and it is a medical issue. Announcers confused.

All they said is that she's been feeling the pressure and they mentioned the IG post that said as much. They also said she's been taping her ankles and started to land awkwardly on the ankle. No one is speculating that she faked an injury and pulled out because she couldn't handle the pressure.

No they literally said 10 mins ago that she pulled out because of mental issue. Then 2 mins ago they said it is a medical issue.
Is anyone really shocked by this?
Whatever her issue…television has been saying her name en loop non stop for months.
Oh and btw…
Ledecky went to Stanford
Daly is a dad
Felix is a mother
Biles is out
She's 24 years old and from Wiki: Biles is the gymnast with the most World medals (25) and most World gold medals (19), having surpassed Vitaly Scherbo's record 23 World medals by winning her 24th and 25th, both gold, at the 2019 competition in Stuttgart.[14] She is the female gymnast with the most World all-around titles (5).
And from what I gather she is capable of performing moves no one else in the world can even come close to (has 4 skills named after her).
100% she's injured hence all the missed landings etc.
Again...she's 24, which might as well be a grandmother in Olympics gymnastics.

I wonder if this is what you might call "an Osaka".
I originally was going to delete the mental claim as we will delete something that is was false . However that is what some are reporting she is physically fine.

This reminds me of the London 2012 Olympic sprint/100M finals. If you were in London or anywhere in the world for that matter the constant focus on Bolt and the expectation and pressure for him to win and repeat his Beijing 2008 feat was unrelenting.
When I heard that Biles had said yesterday she felt like the pressure of the world was on her I knew that Tokyo would be a mental battle for her and how this would play out.
Wow.
What if Tom Brady decided not to come out after halftime because there was so much pressure on him to win......
Thing I don’t get is why doesn’t nbc show the vault. I’m watching today show and they have Hoda telling us what happened. Yet on NBC Olympics .com they are showing the competition live.
Does nbc not want to broadcast it so other entities don’t put it on news?
Perhaps she had a minor physical injury and doesn’t want to jeopardize all the other events she has.
If it was a physical medical issue they would just tell you what it was.
She needs to remove those goats from her uni...
Quitting on your team is the last thing a GOAT would do.
I hope she isn't such a diva that she comes BACK for individual competition.
